In the month of July, the year of 1873 a group of, Christian Believers, came together and organized a place of worship on this same plot of ground  where we are today.  The first place of worship was a Bush Harbor.  Under the leadership of Pastor Li Reed, they worshipped under the Bush Harbor until a few years later a small frame building was erected. 
     Other ministers came and went until one day in 1942 the Lord sent a Pastor J. W. Jones   During his pastoral leadership the church was torn down and another was built.  That building remain the same until September 2007.  In February  of 2005 to the present Zion Hill M.B. church is under the leadership of Pastor Michael E. Benton. 
     Since he has been here at the church the membership continued to grow and be blessed.  The church building under went severe reconstructing in 2007.  Under Pastor Benton leadership the church was refurbished remodeled and added additional   The entire appearance of building has changed.  We are blessed to have 21^st century state of the art building.  We also being blessed spiritually, physically, and financially.  We are still growing strong in the Lord.
